Program:  Dr. David Stone, PE will present the Construction and Commissioning of the Moss Mine,, Mohave County, AZ

Abstract:

Dr. Stone is mining engineer with over 30 years of experience in metal mining worldwide.  Dave completed a B.Ap.Sc. at the University of British Columbia, and then went on to complete a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON.  Dave later returned to Queens to complete an Executive MBA.  Dave is licensed Professional Engineer in a number of Canadian and US jurisdictions.  During the past 3 years, Dave has led the technical team bringing the historic Moss Gold-Silver Mine back into production, from Feasibility, through detailed engineering, and most recently as Construction Manager for the construction and commissioning phases.

Costs:

$31 SME Tucson members who reserve by deadline.

$39 non-members who reserve by deadline.

Add $3 to above ($34/$42) for late RSVPs if space allows.

Free for current UA mining students who are UA SME members.

Payable at the door by cash, credit card, or check payable to SME Tucson.

Cost does not include bar drinks. Cash bar is available.

Cancellations and No Shows:
Please call or email by the registration deadline to cancel.  If you do not cancel your reservation by the deadline, SME is still required to pay for your dinner and you will in turn be billed. Thank you.
